William is shown to owe �12 8s. 8d to Richard, prior of Great Malvern; but he is pardoned this, for his service and charges. Sealed with the abbey(?) seal. The account is perhaps for Powick (Worcs.) [C.L. Kingsford, �The Madresfield Muniments�, section entitiled �The Family and the Estates�, p. 216]. |
