Description |
An exhibition of material from UCL Library Services Special Collections, January - June 2010. Opened by Professor Rosemary Ashton, Quain Professor of English Language and Literature, March 10, 2010. Since its foundation in 1826 UCL has been closely identified with the Bloomsbury area of London. These links and the remarkable concentration of reforming institutions and individuals which occupied the area in the 19th Century are being investigated by the Bloomsbury Project led by Rosemary Ashton, Quain Professor of English Language and Literature at UCL and Principal Investigator of the Project. This exhibition of materials from UCL’s Special Collections seeks to highlight the work of the Project and display some of the rich source material held by UCL Libraries. |
