Title G3. Giant retinal tear - silicone oil and strap
Creator Tarrant, Terry
Description Giant retinal tear in a myopic (short-sighted) eye, post silicone oil and strap treatment. An indent around the periphery is a result of surgery. The edge of the silicone oil bubble is in front of the indent and has become located by preretinal fibrosis. There is scarring throughout the retina due to light coagulation treatment. Left eye. Patient aged 8 years.
